Vacancies are noticed in the local newspaper. An application for City Council appointment is available in the City Clerk's office and on this web site.

Do I have to reside within Auburn city limits to be eligible for an appointment?

Membership on the Planning Commission requires that you reside within the city limits. The remaining commissions and committees do not have that residency requirement.

All city commission and committee meetings are open to the public. Notices of these meetings are posted in the glass case located at the front entrance to City Hall. The agenda are also posted on this web site.
