The City Attorney advises the City Council and all boards and commissions of legal propriety of proposed actions; prepares and/or reviews all ordinances, resolutions, contracts and other documents; represents the City in civil litigation and acts as liaison to outside special counsel; prosecutes municipal code violations; and acts as general counsel to the Auburn Urban Development Authority.
