Victor Pecoraro is currently the Administrative Lieutenant where he is responsible for training, licensing, the Criminal Investigations Division, Property and Evidence Unit, policy, special projects, the Community Action Team (CAT), and the volunteer program. Lieutenant Pecoraro has been with the Department since 1996. He has had the opportunity to work in a few different assignments, including patrol as an officer and a supervisor, the Criminal Investigations Division as the Detective Sergeant, bicycle patrol, SWAT team member and team leader, and other community related responsibilities such as neighborhood watch coordinator and business services liaison. He is an instructor for Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC), defensive tactics and tactical/interpersonal communication. Prior to his service with the police department, he had a short stint in the private sector after serving in the United States Air Force. Lieutenant Pecoraro is a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute (SBSLI) and he has a Masters of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. He enjoys the outdoors including running, biking, kayaking, snowshoeing, weight training, and spending time with his family and friends.
