    By RESOLUTIONauthorize the Director of Public Works to execute the Program Supplement No. M002 Rev. 1 for Project Number STPLH-5077 (004), in the amount of $405,000 for the Borland Avenue/Highway 49 Signal Upgrade Project.


  3. Notice of Completion – Maidu Drive Sidewalk Project    Pages 25 - 28

    By RESOLUTION authorize the recording of a Notice of Completion for the Maidu Drive Sidewalk Project completed by contractor Western Engineering.

    By RESOLUTION authorize the recording of a Notice of Completion for the East Lincoln Way Sidewalk Project completed by contractor Western Engineering.

    By RESOLUTION declare Public Nuisance of certain properties within the City of Auburn identified as containing weeds, rubbish, and or debris.

    By RESOLUTIONappoint Southwest Securities (ML Stern) as Underwriter and Jones Hall, a Professional Law Corporation as Bond Counsel and Disclosure Counsel, as it relates to the financing of improvements to the City of Auburn Wastewater Treatment Facility.

  8. Levying of Assessments for Fiscal Year 2009-10 in connection with the Old Town and Downtown Business Improvement Districts

    Hold a Public Hearing to receive public testimony.

    By RESOLUTION levy assessments for fiscal year 2009-10 in connection with the Old Town Auburn Business Improvement District and the Downtown Auburn Business Improvement District.


  9. 2008 Weed Abatement Program, Assess Tax Rolls
    Pages 59- 64

    Conduct a Public Hearing to allow objection from any property owner liable to be assessed for weed abatement costs during 2008.

    By RESOLUTION approve the 2008 cost report of the weed abatement program and direct the City Clerk to file a certified copy of the report with the Placer County Auditor-Controller in order to collect cost assessments.

    By MOTION authorize the Website Project Team to transition the current website to a version that is user friendly, informative, as well as updated with current City of Auburn photos.

    The purpose of these reports is to provide information to the city council and public on projects and programs that are discussed at committee meetings. No decisions are to be made on these issues. If a council member would like formal action on any of these discussed items, it will be placed on a future city council agenda.

  13. Solicitation Ordinance – First Reading    Pages 67- 76

    Waive full reading and introduce for first reading an ORDINANCE to amend Chapter 116 of the Auburn Municipal Code relating to Solicitations.


  14. Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Contract    Pages 77 - 80

    By RESOLUTION authorize the Director of Public Works to execute a contract with CH2M Hill OMI for operations, maintenance and management of the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.


  15. Solid Waste Franchise Agreement Update    Pages 81 - 82

    Informational item; no Council action required.
