  9. CalPERS Contract Amendment Ordinance – Section 21428 – Increase Industrial Disability Allowance to 75% of Final Compensation for Local Fire Members   Pages 41-50

    Hold a second reading of an ORDINANCE, by title only, approving an amendment to the contract between the City of Auburn and CalPERS, providing Section 21428 for local fire members.


  10. Amgen Tour of California Support Letter   Pages 51-52

    By MOTION, direct staff to send a letter to AMGEN officials regarding the City Council’s support of the Tour of California returning to Auburn in 2012.


  11. Home Rule for Auburn Charter 2012  Pages 53-72

    1. Discuss Councilmember Hanley’s recommendation and determine whether to direct staff to draft resolutions for consideration at a future meeting by which the Council could place a charter before the voters of the City for adoption.

    2. Discuss the internal governance issues in light of the City Attorney’s staff report and other information before the Council and give direction to staff.
