CONSENT CALENDAR

All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine in nature and will be approved by one blanket motion with a roll call vote.

There will be no separate discussion of these items unless persons request specific items to be removed from the Consent Calendar for discussion and separate action. Any items removed will be considered after the motion to approve the Consent Calendar.

    By MOTION approve City Council Minutes of October 11, 2010.


  2. Surplus Equipment  Pages 9-12

    By RESOLUTION, declare as surplus to the City’s needs the equipment listed on Exhibit A and direct staff to contract with an auctioneer to assist the City in disposal of equipment or properly dispose of the items.


  3. Citywide Janitorial Services Contract  Pages 13-22

    By RESOLUTION, authorize the City manager or his designee to execute an agreement with All Star Building Maintenance, Inc. to provide janitorial services as they relate to City-owned facilities for a period of two years in an amount not to exceed $95,000.00.


  4. Placer Green Business Recognition Program   Pages 23-26

    By RESOLUTION, support the Placer Green Business Recognition Program in conjunction with the other Placer cities.

    7. The purpose of these reports is to provide information to the city council and public on projects and programs that are discussed at committee meetings. No decisions are to be made on these issues. If a council member would like formal action on any of these discussed items, it will be placed on a future city council agenda.

  7. Leasing of Vehicles Pilot Program

    By RESOLUTION, approve the change and authorize the new amended and restated Master Equity Lease Agreement with Enterprise.


  8. Designation of the Field at the Auburn Municipal Airport
    9.   Pages 47-48

    By MOTION approve the naming of the field at the Auburn Municipal Airport as “Anderson Field” or other appropriate recognition of the “Greatest Generation” as exemplified by “Bud” Anderson.
