The Community Development Department is responsible for the overall activities of Planning, Building, Code Enforcement, and Public Service Counter & Support Divisions. The Department also assists the Executive Director with the Auburn Urban Development Agency programs, manages affordable housing programs, and is responsible for the City's Community Development Block Grant revolving loan fund program. The Department participates in a number of regional programs and committees engaged in regional land use, transportation and resource issues.
