City of Auburn Public Works operates Auburn Transit. Auburn Transit is a deviated fixed route service that operates within the City of Auburn and portions of unincorporated Placer County.
Auburn Transit offers curb-to-curb shared ride service for all passengers anywhere within the Auburn Transit service area. The demand service will deviate up to ¾ of a mile for the general public.

Reservation must be made one day prior to the service needed, and are taken during regular City of Auburn Business hours 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Be sure to include in your schedule request any personal care attendants or companions that will be accompanying you on your trip.
Hours of Operation are:
Monday through Friday 6 am - 6:30 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Auburn Transit does not operate on Sundays
Auburn Transit connects with Placer County Transit, Capital Corridor Train, Gold Country Stage at the Auburn - Conheim Multimodal Station.
