BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT & EVENT SPONSORSHIP

The City of Auburn is pleased to announce the Business Improvement and Event Sponsorship Grant Programs.  The Auburn City Council established the Economic Development Commission (EDC) to enhance the City's business environment and economic base while preserving and enhancing the social, natural, and financial resources of the community.  The EDC has the responsibility of reviewing funding and in-kind requests supporting events and projects that promote the City's economic development.

As provided in the goals set by the Auburn City Council, Council Resolution 15-63, this responsibility is not limited to funding events and include a broader spectrum of uses.  EDC funds work to implement Auburn's economic development objectives by developing innovative programs that will work to fill vacant storefronts, encourage new businesses to locate in Auburn, and support existing retail shops and restaurants.

Applications are now available through September 30, 2022 at 4 PM.  Grant requests received after 4 PM on September 30th will be considered late and will not be accepted.  Grant funds must be used on or before February 1, 2023.
