City meeting rooms closed until at least March 31st. Most meetings cancelled.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
The City of Auburn will be cancelling and closing all City meeting room facilities for public and rental uses in accordance with Placer County’s, Governor Newsom’s, and the California Department of Public Health’s orders and guidance regarding the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). These cancellations and closures will be in effect until at least March 31st :
Cancelations will include all City Hall meeting rooms.
Police Department meeting facilities.
Fire Department meeting facilities.
Airport meeting facilities.
Rooms may still be available for official operations.
All City Council and Planning Commission meeting schedules are expected to remain the same.
City Hall will remain open for all regular services with no changes in service hours. We appreciate everyone’s understanding during this rapidly evolving, fluid situation. The City will take this opportunity to have each of these rooms professionally cleaned and disinfected providing a higher safety margin once they are reoccupied.
