City Hall Closure and Essential Service Provisions

Beginning March 23rd, 2020, the City of Auburn will provide only essential services to the community. This means Police and Fire services will operate as normal as well as the City’s sewer plant operations. However, most City Hall services will be unavailable until further notice. These efforts have been enacted to help safeguard the public and City staff from Coronavirus transmission. Most Placer cities and the County are making similar operational changes today.

City Hall will remain closed Monday through Wednesday. Limited Plan Submittal and Permit Issuance services will be available Thursdays and Fridays. Additional information on this program can be found on the City’s website at www.auburn.ca.gov.

  • Auburn Police and Fire services will be available as normal with the exception of front lobby services. In case of emergency call 911. For general business needs dial:

Police:  823-4234

Fire: 823-4211 #182

Should you have any further questions please call Robert Richardson, Auburn City Manager at (530) 823-4211 #192.
