Services
The Administration and Engineering Division contains the Public Works Management and Engineering teams. The Engineering team plans, develops, and oversees the construction of public facilities, roadways, and Capital Improvements Projects as well as oversees private land development reviews within the City and the Stormwater Management Plan.
The Administration and Engineering Division grants the following Public Works related permits:
- Encroachment Permit
- Grading Permit
- Minor Boundary Line Adjustments
- Street Banner Permit
- Transportation Permit

Public Works Director office hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 10:00am and 3:00pm - 4:00pm or Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm by appointment.
Public Works Permits
Applicants can now apply online for Encroachment, Grading, and Transportation permits. Questions regarding the online submittal process can be answered by James Taber or by calling 530-823-4211 x111.
