Auburn Transit Services

Auburn Transit offers safe and convenient service to ensure the community gets the most out of transportation throughout the City and surrounding Placer County! Auburn OnDemand rides can be scheduled through the GO South Placer Spare app or by calling our Transit Dispatcher at 530-906-3171. Fares can be paid by credit or debit card through the GO South Placer Spare app, our Transit Dispatcher, or directly on buses or vehicles. Because drivers cannot make change, exact fares need to be paid directly on buses or vehicles.   

Auburn Transit connects with Placer County Transit, Capital Corridor Train, and Nevada County Connects at the Auburn - Conheim Multimodal Station on Nevada Street.

Service Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 7:00 pm & Saturday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Auburn OnDemand is a City provided ride share service that allows riders to set origins and destinations anywhere within Auburn city limits as well as some parts of surrounding Placer County. This service gives riders the opportunity to travel directly to and from desired locations. Auburn OnDemand rides can be booked through the GO South Placer Spare app or by calling our Transit Dispatcher at 530-906-3171.
