Auburn Transit Code of Conduct
The code of conduct on Auburn buses and vehicles is strictly enforced.
Civil Rights Information
Auburn Transit operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with Auburn Transit.
“No person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” (42 U.S.C. Section 2000d)
Disability Resources
Buses throughout the City of Auburn are fitted with lifts so the vehicles are accessible to riders with disabilities. This is just one of many accommodations that the region has in place to ensure equal access to public transportation.

Other arrangements for riders with disabilities include:
- Service animals are allowed on Auburn Transit buses.
- Priority seating is available near the front of the bus.
- One attendant may ride free.
