The City Treasurer is an elected position and has a 4-year term of service. The City Treasurer is charged with the responsibility of assuring proper handling of municipal funds and participates in the investment of these funds in partnership with the City’s Finance Director. The City Treasurer provides the City Council a quarterly status of the City’s banking and investment account balances and maintains an updated, relevant Investment Policy for the City.
